KJ began her contemporary dance training at The University of Chichester graduating with a 1st Class BA (Hons) degree back in 2010, after which she went on to join Transitions Dance Company and toured internationally and gained her Masters Degree in Dance Performance from Trinity Laban (MA).


During KJ’s professional contemporary dance career she has performed for a number of choreographers and companies such as Akram Khan, Lila Dance, James Wilton, Flexer and Sandiland, Jorge Crecis, Balbir Singh, Commotion Dance, Yukiko Masui, Laowai Collab Dance, GlassHouse, Tim Casson, Katie Green and Marisa Zanotti. KJ is currently performing and working for Stopgap Dance Company, Commotion Dance and Morvell Dance. 


Since 2014, KJ has been an associate lecturer at The University of Chichester, working for the Dance and Theatre departments.  KJ regularly works with Instep Dance Company to create and generate performance pieces including intergenerational and inclusive works.  KJ also has a passion for older adults dance, KJ led Retrospectif Dance Company for seven years and now works for Chichester Festival Theatre leading their Get Dancing group. Alongside dance KJ has a love for Yoga. In 2017, KJ trained in Ashtanga and Vinyasa teaching at Sampoorna Yoga, India. KJ teaches locally and across the UK for intensives and online tutorials.
