Cynara Davies

Education and Arts Evaluation Consultant

Cynara currently leads the Learning and Public Programmes Team at Pallant House Gallery in Chichester. She is responsible for overseeing the Gallery’s critically acclaimed Community Programme and a formal and informal learning and engagement programme for all ages, with a particular focus on schools and engaging young people with the visual arts.

Over the last 25 years Cynara has led on engagement and participation in a wide range of cultural contexts. This has included managing regional engagement projects for English Heritage and the National Trust exploring community histories through intergenerational engagement and developing Interfaith and Human Rights education approaches at Chichester Cathedral.

Developing meaningful and sustainable partnerships with schools, colleges and young people’s organisations to deliver high quality cultural experiences has been central to Cynara’s practice and she is excited about being involved in Creative County West Sussex to support its ambitions across the county.
