Schools & Community

At Creative County West Sussex (affectionately known as CCWS) we work closely with schools and organisations to design bespoke projects which cater to the specific needs of the children and young people we will be working with.  We aim to bridge the gap between the educational sector and the cultural sector, bringing creative learning to the fore.

CCWS offer a wide variety of participatory workshops which are all focussed on supporting learning whilst enhancing each individuals mental health and wellbeing.

Creative learning objectives include;

  • Supporting the development of self-confidence & self-efficacy
  • Provide a platform for self-expression
  • Reflect on links to learning (how learning one skill can transfer to supporting another)
  • Introduce new skills (including practical, social, thinking & communication & non-verbal)
  • Focus on improving personal and social interactions
  • Practise collaborating successfully with others

And most importantly

  • Enjoying and having fun, fun fun…
