James Dunnell-Smith

James is the co-artistic director of Sleeping Trees Theatre Company and specialises in running devising workshops with a heavy focus on storytelling, physical theatre and generating material.

Since 2010 James has devised & performed thirteen Sleeping Trees productions, touring nationally and internationally to audiences young and old.

His workshops highlight the benefits of working as an ensemble and encourage the students to get creative with a wide range of devising techniques, techniques they can then take forward and apply to their own devised work.
