John Page

John trained in Stage Management and Technical theatre at Central School of Speech and Drama, graduating in 1996.


He has recently been client fitout manager for the final commissioning of the newly refurbished Theatre Royal Drury Lane, 

John is a regular production manager for Chichester Festival Theatre, most recently, Wind in the Willows, Woman in Mind, The Narcissist, Sing Yer Heart out for the Lads, Crossing Lines Sleeping Beauty, The Midnight Gang, Random/Generations, Beauty and the Beast, Quiz and it’s west end transfer, Grim Tales, Peter Pan, Running Wild, First Light.


He has also project managed temporary theatre spaces, two for Chichester, “Theatre on the Fly” with Assemble and “The Chichester Spiegeltent” as well as one for the Old Vic. “Rise”

 

John was client rep for the construction of the Fugard Theatre in Cape Town, South Africa. While there he production managed, Athol Fugard’s The Train Driver. He designed sound and set in conjunction with the original creative team, for the Fugard Theatre version of “Waiting for Godot” Directed By Sean Mathias.


John is production manager for the Isango Ensemble, creating show sin south Africa nd touring internationally. Shows include: The Mysteries, Magic Flute, Ragged Trousered Philanthropists, La Boheme, uCarmen eKhayelitsha, A Man of Good Hope, SS Mendi and Treemonisha. He also art directed their film version of Benjamin Britten’s Noah’s Flood. 


He has worked with amongst others Peepolkus Theatre company, Pleasance Theatre, The Kosh Dance Company, David Stassman, Bob Downe, Third World Bunfight, The Mighty Boosh, Ridiculous, Tara Arts, Yellow Earth, Blind Summit, Immodesty Blaise , Opera Della Luna, Charles Court Opera and La Soiree.
