Arts and Culture Lead at River Beach Primary School

My name is Sandra Ackerman and I am the Arts and Culture Lead at River Beach Primary School in Littlehampton.

I have been teaching in primary education for eighteen years, primarily in the Early Years. My role is now that of a specialist art teacher as well as ensuring that the pupils of River Beach have a rich and varied access to cultural opportunities through the arts.

I believe passionately that access to arts and culture enriches and improves lives. As such I am excited to be part of Creative County West Sussex, promoting arts opportunities for young people.
