“Think about the things you enjoyed as a child and don’t ignore them… if that’s the thing that makes you feel happy and something you’ve really enjoyed and you felt like you could be yourself there, hold onto that and try to find a way to be in that space again”
Hi! I'm Ellen, I'm 24 and I'm the Youth and Outreach Trainee at Chichester Festival Theatre.
I studied English and History at University but after participating in youth theatre most of my teenage life I decided that my passion was to be a part of giving these kinds of positive creative learning experiences to other young people.
Since University I have worked as a SEND teaching assistant, a nanny, an early year's music teacher and in Learning and Participation in a museum for children and young people. I am hugely excited to be returning to my youth theatre roots and contributing to the amazing outreach and education work that CFT have to offer during my traineeship.
